Control-Alt-Delete
Help... a friend of mine is going through a 'growth spurt' after some tough life circumstances. She is getting kinda crazy and out of control and indulging in some behaviors that she'll probably regret later! I want to tell her to put on the brakes and think about what she is doing, but do not know how to send her the message in a gentle but firm way. How can I listen to her (and hear all about her "adventures") offering support, without condoning her behavior? I want to be a good friend but don't want to be offensive. If she continues on this path, there is no doubt a train wreck in her future! Any ideas? She needs a control-alt-delete........

PS.. please say a prayer for her.
Prayers going up.
praying for her over here as well!
Margie,
If she knows you, as I know you, what you say will be in a blanket of love. You only have kindness coming from your soul. The Spirit will use that. If you are physically close to her as you talk to her hold her hand so she can feel your warmth as she feels the warmth of your words. The Spirit will flow. I love you. jb
First tie her to a chair, then repeatably bash her in the head with your bible again and again.
Joke!
I think it depends on her background is she a christian falling away from God? Or is she just and unsaved human falling the crowd?
Regardless. when she tells your of her self hurting adventures say something to let her know you understand she is having a hard time and looking for ways to "heal" that but that you also dont approve of her doing those things and the at it hurts your heart to see her walking down that path.
Thanks gals, for the thoughts and prayers. I haven't talked with her yet... can I just send an email?
Probably not, huh? Well, keep praying cz we can't connect personally until the end of the month after I get back from CA. Then we are doing lunch!!
Wish me luck :D
